
Most recently he was the General Manager and opening Executive Chef of Ruth’s Chris Steak House located in Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that his restaurant received best new restaurant from the reader’s of Rhode Island Monthly. Prior to that Chef Kevin worked as the Executive Chef for Trattoria Simpatico, the award winning restaurant located in Jamestown, Rhode Island. While at Trattoria Simpatico Chef Gaudreau began to receive national recognition as one of the area’s top chefs.
His recipes and dishes have graced the pages of Bon Appetite, Boston Magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, New England Travel & Life, The Boston Globe and numerous other publications. Chef Gaudreau has cooked for the prestigious James Beard Foundation on three occasions.
Chef Kevin is a mentor chef for the Culinary Institute of America. In 2007, Chef Gaudreau was recognized by Providence Monthly as one of Providence’s “ Rising Stars”. In 2009 Chef Gaudreau was recognized by The March of Dimes Organization as their “ Signature Chef of the Year” for the State of Rhode Island.
It is at his current position that Chef Gaudreau is committed to continue his standards of excellence and to continue to give back to the great State of Rhode Island as much as it has given him.
